An ambitious spectacle that reinvented the old school variety show featured seven contrasting and interlinked duets performed by Antonia Grove and Theo Clinkard, each one a ‘dance gem’ from radically different choreographers. Designed by Fabrice Serafino, four specially commissioned duets – from Mark Bruce, Charles Linehan, Stephen Mear and New Art Club – sit alongside Trisha Brown’s seminal Accumulation from 1971, the first ever piece by Jeremy James and a Bessie award-winning work from Israel’s Yasmeen Godder.
Commissioned by Hextable Dance, Greenwich Dance and South Hill Park Arts Centre, and made with support from Merlin Theatre, Frome, Take Art and The Place.
